HOOPP hosts our popular pension webinars as part of our ongoing member support and education. These webinars are one of the ways we educate members about the features and value of their HOOPP pension. Our goal is to make sure our members have the information they need now to make good decisions for their future.

HOOPP offers three different educational webinars:

HOOPP Overview: Understanding your pension

Members will learn more about their pension, along with key benefits and features of the Plan and how our educational resources and pension experts can guide them.

HOOPP Connect, your secure online member site
Members will learn how their secure member site can help them explore different retirement scenarios, update their information and more.

Are you getting retirement ready?
Members will learn about planning for retirement, the value of their HOOPP pension, ways to maximize it, how our educational resources and pension experts can guide them and more.

Employer education webinars

You play an important role in supporting HOOPP administration for your employees. To help, we offer employer webinars that keep you informed and teach you everything you need to know about your employer obligations.

HOOPP offers three different types of employer educational webinars:

Introduction to HOOPP for employers
This monthly webinar provides education on how to effectively support administration of the Plan, including an overview of your employer obligations, how to calculate member contributions, different types of member events and more. These webinars are helpful if you’re new to HOOPP or if you want a refresher. Sign up today.

In the loop with HOOPP
This series of webinars is offered periodically throughout the year and provides you with the latest Plan updates, administrative tips and an opportunity for you to ask questions and give us your feedback. Keep an eye out for an invitation in your inbox throughout the year.

MDC overview
Each year, we offer member data collection (MDC) education webinars that run from December through January. These webinars guide you through the MDC process, provide helpful tips and answer any questions you may have. Look out for an invitation in your inbox mid-November each year.
