Status Changes/DOB and SIN

This is a step-by-step instructions on how to enter employment and/or contributory status changes for a Member. Follow the steps below and refer to the corresponding screenshots or how to videos in each section.
Note: SIN and DOB changes must be submitted using a Data Collection (Member Basic Data). This section contains the step by step instructions.
| Once on the HOOPP Insight Dashboard, scroll to the Data Collection tile and click New Data Collection. |
| Select Member Basic Data from the Data Type drop-down menu. Note: Joint Administrators will need to input the appropriate Employer Code during this step. Tips: Let the Effective Date default to today's date. The Data Collection Name can be modified/overwritten to include member names for easier searching capabilities later on. Click Save and Continue. |
| Click +Add Record to begin entering the status change information for a member. |
| Begin by entering the Member’s SIN, First Name and Last Name. Then enter the appropriate Status Change information including Employment Type, Employment Type Effective Date, Contributory Status and Contributory Status Effective Date. Select Save to continue. Any input errors will be displayed on the screen and must be corrected before you submit the status change. |
| Once all your status changes have been entered and any input errors have been cleared, click Validate to initiate data validations. |
| When the validations are complete, select Continue to proceed to the next step. |
| Review your submission for accuracy. Then click Submit to send the information to HOOPP. |
| Select Confirm to complete the submission. |
| The new submission now appears on the Data Collections page. Single click on the new submission to see a summary on the right. Then click on the HOOPP Insight logo to return to the Dashboard homepage. |
