Enrolment File Upload

This is a step-by-step instruction on how to process multiple Enrolments using a File Upload approach  (refer to the Payroll File Specifications for formatting details).  Follow the steps below and refer to the corresponding screenshots provided in each section.



After logging into HOOPP Insight you will land on the Dashboard home page.

From the Data Collections tile, click New Data Collection

Select Enrolments from the Data Type drop-down menu.

Note: Joint Administrators will need to input the appropriate Employer code during this step.

Click Save and Continue.

Click Upload File to initiate the file upload process.

Note: You can return to this screen at any time to upload additional files or manually enter additional members.

Click Select files from your computer to select and upload your file.

Important! Please provide accurate dates (MM/DD/YY) when entering date of birth, hire date, enrolment date and employment type effective date in your file.   

Note: Please only submit an enrolment for incorporated physicians that are indicated as participating within the MPC’s HOOPP participation agreement. Please also note:

    • When enrolling these members, the baseline earnings amount from the participation agreement is entered as the annualized earnings amount
    • In addition, the hire date should reflect the participation date on the agreement or the date the MPC’s participation agreement was amended to provide for the incorporated physician’s participation

The uploaded file now appears in the Uploaded File(s) section.

Click Import Files to load and view the data.

The imported member records will be displayed on the screen. Any records containing input errors will be identified with a red dot.

The File Summary indicates how many errors need to be corrected.

To view information about an error, single click on the member record and details will display on the right.

Click View Member Data to correct the error.

Correct the error and select Save to continue.

Now click Validate to initiate data validations.

Once the validations are complete, you will be presented with any members who have data warnings or data errors that need to be corrected.

There are several options for addressing errors:

  • Correct the Data – update the data originally provided
  • Approve Warning – select an override for the reported data
  • Postpone Member – set aside to work on at a later time
  • Reject Member – delete the member from the data collection

Once all errors and warnings have been actioned, click Continue to proceed.

Review your submission for accuracy. Then click Submit to send the information to HOOPP.

Click Confirm to complete the submission.

Your new submission now appears on the Data Collections page.


Click on the submission to see a summary on the right. Then click on the HOOPP Insight logo to return to the Dashboard homepage.
